Helicopter Maker Fights Adviser's Bid For Fee On $185M Sale

Law360, London (November 11, 2020, 4:40 PM GMT) -- A Swiss helicopter manufacturer has told a London court that a British financial adviser is trying to collect fees beyond the scope of its agreement to act as an introducer, as it hit back in a $2.4 million lawsuit over its sale in January.

Kopter Group AG says the agreement it had with BLMS Capital was limited to the British company helping to raise capital for the aircraft company to use to develop technology. The adviser has said it should be paid for helping the company find a buyer, Kopter claims at the High Court.
