UK Firms Turn To Outsourcing Financial Work Post-Pandemic
By Irene Madongo (August 31, 2021, 4:46 PM BST) -- British companies emerging from the COVID-19 crisis are looking to external firms to do their financial work as a cheaper alternative to using in-house teams with large overheads, an accounting consultancy said Tuesday.
Theta Global Advisors said it surveyed 2,069 professionals and found that 33% of business leaders and firms believe it is vital to outsource after the pandemic, noting firms are shifting to rely on outside finance teams to do some of their work.
