Gov't Urges Firms To Settle Unresolved Banking Complaints

By Najiyya Budaly (September 2, 2021, 4:18 PM BST) -- Britain's minister for small businesses called on accountants, lawyers and financial advisers on Thursday to encourage their business clients to take unresolved banking complaints to the U.K.'s free and independent dispute resolution service.

Conservative MP Paul Scully has called on professional services firms, including solicitors, to steer their current and previous business customers to the Business Banking Resolution Service if they have long-standing disputes with a bank, saying that it has been "a testing year" for many companies.
