Energy Co. In Director Fight Says No-Show Atty Doesn't Exist

By Bonnie Eslinger (September 9, 2021, 5:06 PM BST) -- A judge who tossed claims from two companies seeking to seize control of Hurricane Energy PLC ordered a hearing for a request to reverse the decision on Thursday, even though their attorney didn't show up and the oil and gas company suggested he didn't exist.

Judge Mark Pelling, sitting as a judge of the High Court, directed that the hearing be fixed "with expedition," for the first available date after Sept. 15.
