ORDER : By letter-motion dated September 17, 2026 (Dkt. 314), plaintiffs seek leave to move for sanctions against pro se defendant Robert Carruthers, pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 11, arising out of a series of abusive emails sent to one of plainti ffs' attorneys by Carruthers between September 6 and September 17, 2026 (Dkt. 314-1). Also on September 16, 2026, Ms. Croussouloudis sent a short email to Mr. Carruthers, advising that he "should not be writing to us directly other than to change [his] offer of settlement;" asking him to file any other communications "on PACER;" and reminding him that that there are no triable issues remaining in this case (as to him) "other than the amount of damages." D kt. 314-2 at ECF p. 4. Notwithstanding his torrent of emails to Ms. Croussouloudis, Mr. Carruthers did not respond to plaintiff's September 17, 2026 letter-motion seeking leave to move for sanctions.
