Motion Hearing Order on Motion for Discovery ~Util - Set Deadlines
MINUTE ENTRY AND ORDER: A Discovery Conference was held before Magistrate Judge Peggy Kuo on October 1, 2026, by telephone. Lauren Goldberg, Esq. appeared on behalf of Plaintiff. Ashley Casey, Esq. and Howard Wexler, Esq. appeared for Defendants.
The parties were heard on the discovery disputes raised in 36 Joint Motion for Discovery. For the reasons below, Plaintiff's requests in the motion are granted.
With respect to Plaintiff's request for all corrective action forms, coaching documents, or performance warnings issued by Dahiana Montan-Vasquez to any store within her district from 2023-April 2025, Defendants are directed to produce the entire disciplinary records for all ten General Managers supervised by Dahiana Montan-Vasquez, subject to the 24 Confidentiality Order.
With respect to Plaintiff's request for "EHS Assessment audits performed on any store managed by Dahiana Montan-Vasquez during the years 2023-2025," Plaintiff modified her request to an interrogatory. Defendants are directed to answer whether there were any EHS Assessment audits performed on any store managed by Dahiana Montan-Vasquez during the years 2023 to 2025 and provide the dates of each audit.
Plaintiff confirmed that she did notand does not intend toseek medical attention for her emotional distress; therefore, there are no medical records.
The request to extend the deadline for the completion of fact discovery is granted. The parties are directed to confer on deposition dates and file a joint revised proposed scheduling order by October 9, 2026.
