Order Referring Case to Magistrate Judge
MINUTE ORDER. On May 1, 2026, the Court informed the parties that it intended to refer this case to a magistrate judge for full case management. The Court also asked the parties whether they consented to a referral for all purposes, pursuant to Local Civil Rule 73.1. See May 1, 2026 Minute Order. On May 5, 2026, the parties filed 30 31 Notices indicating that they did not consent to referral. Because Local Civil Rule 72.3(a) does not require the parties' consent to refer a case to a magistrate judge for full case management, including reports and recommendations on pending motions, and because the Court's order asked the parties to inform the Court whether they consented to an all purpose referral, the Court interprets the parties' response as an objection to an all purpose referral.Accordingly, and consistent with Local Civil Rule 72.3, it is ORDERED that this action is referred to a magistrate judge for full case management. So Ordered by Judge Dabney L. Friedrich on July 29, 2026. (lcdlf1)
