Order Setting Deadline/Hearing
ELECTRONIC ORDER: The Court recently consolidated this proposed class action and appointed interim class counsel. Doc. Nos. 14 & 15. Defendant has not yet answered or otherwise responded to either named Plaintiff's Complaint. In light of the consolidation and appointment of interim class counsel, the Court ordered the parties to confer about relevant scheduling deadlines. Doc. No. 16. The Court did not order the parties to conduct a Rule 26(f) conference. At this time, the Court sets only the following deadlines. Plaintiffs shall file an amended consolidated complaint by April 19, 2024. Defendant shall answer or otherwise respond to Plaintiffs' amended consolidated complaint within 30 days of it being filed. If Defendant files a motion to dismiss, Plaintiffs shall file their consolidated response within 21 days of the motion being filed. Defendant shall file any reply within 21 days of a response. The Court also GRANTS the parties leave to exceed the page limits related to briefing on any motion to dismiss. Defendant may file a motion to dismiss not to exceed 35 pages. Plaintiffs may file a response in opposition not to exceed 35 pages. Defendant may file a reply not to exceed 15 pages. (Ordered by Judge Ed Kinkeade on 4/10/2024) (chmb)
