Order on Motion for Miscellaneous Relief
ELECTRONIC ORDER Extending Pretrial Deadlines and Resetting Trial Date.
Before the Court is the parties' Second Joint Motion to Modify Scheduling Order (the "Joint Motion") (Doc. No. 77). Having carefully considered the Joint Motion, the Court finds good cause to modify the pretrial materials deadline and the trial setting. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 16(b)(4). Accordingly, the Court GRANTS the Joint Motion.
The Court sets this matter for JURY trial on the Court's three-week docket beginning January 11, 2027. The parties and their counsel, including local counsel, shall be ready for trial on two (2) days' notice at any time during this three-week period. Any potential conflicts with this trial setting must be called to the Court's attention in writing within seven (7) days from the date of this Order.
The parties shall file their pretrial materials, as outlined in Paragraph 12 of the Scheduling Order (Doc. No. 19), by December 14, 2026. Doc. No. 19 at 3.
The parties made the disclosures required by Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26(a)(3)(A)-(B) on September 25, 2026, see Doc. Nos. 75 & 76. Plaintiff and Defendant are reminded that they must serve and file a list of any objections thereto, as outlined in Paragraph 10 of the Scheduling Order, by October 9, 2026. Doc. No. 19 at 3.
The parties are further reminded that they remain bound to comply with Paragraphs 13 through 20 of the Scheduling Order. Doc. No. 19 at 5-6. (Ordered by Judge Ed Kinkeade on 10/2/2026) (chmb)
