Order to Show Cause
ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE: On 05/01/2026, the Court directed all parties to appear for a status conference scheduled for 07/08/2026 at 12:00 PM, and further directed that any requests to adjourn the conference should be filed by 07/01/2026. (See 05/28/2026 Scheduling Order.) At the scheduled date and time, pro se Plaintiff failed to appear as directed. Pro se Plaintiff did not seek an adjournment of the conference and did not respond to the Court's attempts to contact her. This is unacceptable. This is pro se Plaintiff's case to prosecute and she must comply with Court orders.
Accordingly, by 07/22/2026, Plaintiff shall file a letter and shall state: (1) why pro se Plaintiff failed to appear at the status conference and (2) why this action should not be dismissed for failure to prosecute. Failure to respond may result in a sua sponte report and recommendation to dismiss this case. The Clerk of Court is respectfully directed to mail a copy of this Order to Show Cause and a summary of the docket to pro se Plaintiff at the address of record on the docket.
