Detention
ORDER OF DETENTION PENDING TRIAL as to Ailyn Anais Rodriguez Euceda ( Signed by Magistrate Judge Christopher dos Santos) Parties notified. (mep5)
Detention Hearing
Minute Entry for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge Christopher dos Santos: DETENTION HEARING as to Ailyn Anais Rodriguez Euceda held on 4/15/2026. The Court advised the parties that the detention hearing was set due to updated information from Pretrial Services. On April 1, 2026, Pretrial Services initially recommended a $75,000.00 cash/surety bond; however, after verifying Defendants information, Pretrial Services now recommends detention, as reflected in the Pretrial Services Report (Dkt. 23 ), filed on April 7, 2026. The Government is seeking detention. Defense counsel announced ready to proceed with the detention hearing. The Government requested detention, arguing that Defendant has no ties to Laredo, no family in Texas, lacks employment, has difficulty securing a co-surety, and has active warrants for failure to appear in Ohio. Defense counsel, Claudia Balli, requested that the Court set a reasonable bond, arguing that Defendant has strong family support, a residence in Ohio with Defendants mother, and that the failure to appear was due to Defendants arrest in this case. Defendant was given the opportunity to allocute and stated that she is willing to comply with any and all conditions imposed by the Court. The Court will take the matter under advisement and will issue an Order accordingly. Appearances: Michael Poyfair, AUSA; Claudia Valdez Balli f/Defendant; USPO: Officer Monica Garcia ; USM: Deputy Derek Amason. (In Court Time: 10:17 AM - 10:22 AM ) (ERO: Emmanuel Garcia) (Interpreter: Suzanne Buckley/not used) Deft remanded to custody. (mlr5)
