TEXT ORDER: The parties appeared for a Final Pretrial and Settlement Conference. The parties shall attempt to resolve or narrow the disputes related to the following proposed witnesses: Richard Corcoran III, Michael Scutella, and William Berkley. On or before 9/18/2026, the parties shall file a joint letter regarding any disputes that remain following their face-to-face meet-and-confer, or notify the Court by joint letter that the disputes have been resolved. The parties shall complete the deposition of Michael Bell on or before 10/9/2026. The Court will hold a Final Pretrial Conference and Settlement Conference on 12/2/26 at 10 a.m. in Courtroom 9 of the Frank R. Lautenberg Post Office and U.S. Courthouse, 2 Federal Square, Newark, NJ 07102. No later than fourteen (14) days prior to the conference, the parties shall submit a revised joint final pretrial order and each party shall submit a confidential settlement memorandum to chambers via email to CF_Orders@njd.uscourts.gov. Trial counsel, clients, and/or other persons with full settlement authority must attend the conference. Eric Mara shall attend the settlement conference on behalf of Defendant.
