Unfortunately for the city of Dallas, NBA legend Tracy McGrady has never played for the Mavericks. And he does not live in Dallas. Nor was he served in Dallas. The Court therefore ORDERS Plaintiff Dominik Karnas to brief the Court on why venue is proper in the Northern District of Texas, instead of the Southern District of Texas, where T-Mac resides. Plaintiff Karnas SHALL file the brief no later than 8/26/2026. Defendant McGrady may reply no later than 9/1/2026. (Ordered by Judge Brantley Starr on 8/19/2026) (twd)
