Minute Order ~Util - 1 Set/Reset Deadlines and Hearings
MINUTE ORDER signed by Magistrate Judge Sheila K. Oberto on 5/24/2024: (Text Only Entry) The Court is in receipt of the parties' "Joint Rule 26(f) Report," filed May 23, 2024 (the "Joint Report"). In the Joint Report, the parties proposed a deadline for the parties to amend the pleadings, but they included no discovery deadlines as required by the Court's order (see Doc. 3 ). The parties also filed the Joint Report two days past the deadline set by the Court. (See id.).
The parties are ORDERED to meet and confer to formulate a joint schedule. To the extent that there are certain dates to which the parties cannot agree, they should provide a detailed discussion regarding their positions as to each disputed deadline and the reasons why they could not reach a consensus as to that deadline. The Initial Scheduling Conference currently set for May 28, 2024, is CONTINUED to July 9, 2024, at 9:45 AM, before Magistrate Judge Sheila K. Oberto. The parties SHALL file their joint scheduling report 7 days prior to the conference. Failure to comply with this order may be grounds for the imposition of sanctions on any and all counsel as well as any party or parties who cause non-compliance with this order. (Kusamura, W)
