ORDER RESETTING SHOW CAUSE HEARING - Before the Court is the Expedited Motion to Continue October 7, 2026 Show-Cause Hearing to Allow Reasonable Time to Retain Counsel (Doc. No. 57) and the Certificate of Conference (Doc. No. 58) (together, the "Motion") filed by Defendant Tiffany Alphonse. Plaintiff is opposed to Defendant Alphonse's request for a 30-day extension of the show cause hearing, see Doc. No. 57 at 1, but has not yet filed a response as this Motion was just filed.
Defendants Liberty Taxes, LLC, Liberty Consultants, LLC, and Tiffany Alphonse SHALL appear on October 27, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. in the undersigned's courtroom at 1100 Commerce St., Room 1627, Dallas, TX 75242. The Court will NOT continue this hearing again absent exigent circumstances.
The Clerk is DIRECTED to serve a copy of this Order on Defendant Alphonse by first-class mail to 606 Pinehurst Rd., Red Oak, TX 75134 AND by email at Libertyq14@gmail.com.
Plaintiff SHALL serve a copy of this Order on Defendant Liberty Consultants, LLC, and file written notification of said service by October 9, 2026. The Clerk is also DIRECTED to serve a copy of this Order on Defendant Liberty Consultants, LLC, through its Registered Agent, LEGALCORP SOLUTIONS, LLC, at the following addresses by certified mail, return receipt requested:
1814 North Memorial Way, Houston, TX 77077 (Doc. No. 56-2 at 2); AND
