ELECTRONIC DISCOVERY ORDER. The Court CANCELS the hearing on Defendant's Motion to Compel Plaintiff's Deposition and for Sanctions and, Alternatively, Motion to Extend the Deadline for Conducting Plaintiffs Deposition (hereinafter "Defendant's Motion") (ECF No. 74) and Plaintiff's Motion to Quash Defendant's Notice of Deposition and Motion for Protective Order (hereinafter "Plaintiffs Motion") (ECF No. 77) and GRANTS Plaintiff's request to issue a ruling based on the written submissions. The Court considered the relevant factors under Squyres v. Heico Companies, L.L.C., 782 F.3d 224, 237 (5th Cir. 2015) and, finding good cause to modify the Scheduling Order to allow Defendant to take Plaintiff's deposition, GRANTS Defendant's Motion to Extend the Deadline for Conducting Plaintiffs Deposition. The Court DENIES Plaintiff's Motion for a Protective Order and ORDERS Plaintiff to submit to an in-person deposition by Mr. Leon on June 26, 2026, or another date that is mutually agreed upon by the parties. The Court does not award sanctions, but reminds the parties of their responsibilities under the local rules and Dondi Properties Corp. v. Commerce Savings & Loan Ass'n.
