TEXT ORDER: The Court has reviewed Mr. Barnes's August 21, 2026 response to the August 7, 2026 Order to Show Cause. In view of Mr. Barnes's response, and detailed explanation of the difficult circumstances that resulted in Plaintiff's counsel missing the July 13, 2026 status conference and failing to join with Defense Counsel in the status report, the Court finds good cause to withdraw the Order to Show Cause at this time. The parties will meet and confer on a jointly proposed amended scheduling order that includes proposed deadlines for all remaining litigation tasks, and submit it to the Court by September 4, 2026. The next telephone status conference in this matter will take place on November 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. So Ordered by Magistrate Judge Michael A. Hammer on 8/24/2026. (Hammer, Michael)
