Order on Motion for Extension of Time to Complete Discovery
ORDER granting in part 82 Letter Motion for Extension of Time to Complete Discovery. Pending before the Court is a letter-motion for extension of the schedule. (ECF 82.) The application for an extension is GRANTED IN PART; the death in counsels family constitutes the requisite good cause, and the Court extends condolences. The parties shall have until November 16, 2026 to complete fact discovery which is more than enough time to complete the limited additional fact discovery I have permitted and until December 15, 2026 to complete expert discovery. The motion is further GRANTED IN PART, in that the deadline for dispositive motions, which currently are due by November 30, 2026 (not February 1, 2027) (see ECF 49 at 4) is extended until January 15, 2027, with oppositions due by February 15, 2027, and replies due by March 3, 2027. I do not anticipate granting further extensions of these deadlines without extremely good cause shown; such good cause shall not include competing professional obligations, since the parties have sufficient time to arrange their calendars to avoid future conflicts.
