Order on Motion for Extension of Time
ORDER granting in part and denying in part 1287 Letter Motion for Extension of Time; terminating 1288 Letter Motion for Extension of Time. The request at Dkt. No. 1287 is GRANTED IN PART. The Court notes that the request at Dkt. No. 1288 is a duplicate of Dkt. No. 1287, and therefore addresses both requests in this memo endorsement. The deadline of September 9, 2026 for Plaintiffs and Defendants 34th Street Partnership, Inc. ("34th Street") and Bryant Park Corporation ("Bryant Park") to submit their motion for preliminary settlement approval ("MSA") and consent forms to proceed before a US Magistrate Judge over a specific motion ("Consent Form") (see Dkt. No. 1258) is EXTENDED to October 5, 2026. The Court also sua sponte EXTENDS the deadline of September 9, 2026 for Plaintiffs and Defendants Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corporation ("Burlington"), Target Corporation ("Target"), and MIR Hanson Associates, LLC ("MIR Hanson") (see Dkt. Nos. 1258; 1261) to submit their MSAs and Consent Forms to October 5, 2026. The Court previously set a deadline of October 5, 2026 for Plaintiffs and Defendants Levy Premium Foodservice Limited Partnership, Yavneh Minyan of Flatbush, and Rabbinical Seminary of America to file their MSAs and Consent Forms. (Dkt. Nos. 1278; 1285). In the interest of efficiency, and to put all eight settlements on the same schedule, the Court puts Plaintiffs and Defendants 34th Street, Bryant Park, Burlington, Target, and MIR Hanson on that same deadline. The Clerk of Court is respectfully directed to close Dkt. Nos. 1287 and 1288. SO ORDERED. Motions due by 10/5/2026.. (Signed by Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave on 9/8/2026) (jjc)
