Bankruptcy Appeal (801) | Nevada
Minute Order
MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Judge Gloria M. Navarro on 8/18/2026.
Before the Court is the 1 Notice of Appeal filed by Appellants Justin Cotton-Eugene and Quire Products, LLC. Bankruptcy Rule 8009 requires an appellant to file with the clerk and serve on the appellee a designation of items to be included and a statement of issues within 14 days after filing a notice of appeal. Fed. R. Bank. Proc. 8009. Appellants have yet to perfect their appeal and comply with Rule 8009 despite the 1 Notice being filed over three weeks ago. Given this deficiency, Appellants are HEREBY ORDERED to show cause as to why this appeal should not be dismissed for lack of prosecution and failure to comply with the Fed. R. Bankr. Proc. Appellants have until August 31, 2026, to perfect their appeal as defined in Fed. R. Bankr. P. 8009(a)(4), or file a written brief, not to exceed 10 pages, which presents good cause for why they are unable to perfect the appeal. Appellants' failure to perfect the appeal or show adequate cause will result in dismissal of this appeal.
