Notice to Counsel
NOTICE TO COUNSEL: On July 10, 2026, this matter was initially assigned to a United States Magistrate Judge (R. Doc. 4). On July 31, 2026, counsel were notified that, because unanimous consent to proceed before a United States Magistrate Judge had not been received, the matter was reassigned to a United States District Judge (R. Doc. 8). The Joint Status Report indicates that all parties consent to the jurisdiction of a United States Magistrate Judge and states that this matter has already been assigned to a Magistrate Judge. The matter is not currently assigned to a Magistrate Judge. Accordingly, if all parties consent to proceed before a United States Magistrate Judge, the parties shall complete and submit the attached consent form on or before September 29, 2026. If all parties do not consent, no further action is required in response to this Notice. The Scheduling Conference set for October 1, 2026 is CANCELED. The parties will be notified by separate order regarding further scheduling in this matter.(BLR)
