   (In Chambers) Order by Judge Stanley Blumenfeld, Jr.: This Court now has before it two related cases involving putative class actions against Defendant RSCR California, Inc. for violations of the California Labor Code.: Case No. 2:26-cv-07322-SB-RAO (the Catchings Action) and Case No. 2:26-cv-02224-SB-RAO (the Barrajas Action). Both cases involve overlapping putative classes of current and former employees of Defendant over approximately the same time period. The parties in both actions are ordered to promptly meet and confer in person or by telephone and seek to reach agreement on whether these cases should be consolidated. No later than August 28, 2026, the parties shall file a joint status report addressing consolidation. If they agree that the cases should be consolidated, they shall also propose a date by which Plaintiffs will file a consolidated complaint and a supplemental Rule 26(f) report addressing the case management order that will be entered in the consolidated case. The parties in both actions shall appear for a status conference at 8:30 a.m. on September 4, 2026 in Courtroom 6C.
