Because the Court concludes that Defendant has provided compelling reasons to seal portions of its response to the class certification motion and other specific documents, the Court will direct Defendant to file a sealed version of the portions of Defendant's response to Plaintiff's Motion for Class Certification, the D'Amico Declaration, the Chacon Declaration, and Exhibit A to the McEntyre Declaration specified, in addition to Exhibits A and B to the D'Amico Declaration, Exhibits A and B to the Chacon Declaration, and Exhibits D and E to the McEntyre Declaration in their entirety. By no later than August 21, 2026, Defendant shall file a sealed and unredacted version of the documents previously indicated. Order on Motion to Reopen Case
PAPERLESS ORDER denying 10 Plaintiff's Motion to Reopen the Case. On June 16, 2016, the parties filed a Joint Stipulation to Stay Proceedings based on the parties' agreement that Plaintiff's claims were subject to mediation and arbitration. [ECF No. 8]. Thereafter, the Court issued an Order staying this action until the parties complete the mandatory dispute program. [ECF No. 9]. In the instant Motion, Plaintiff (now appearing pro se) seeks to reopen this case, but he does not indicate whether the parties completed the mandatory dispute program. According to Defendant, Plaintiff abandoned the program. [ECF No. 12]. Therefore, this case shall remain STAYED until the parties complete the mandatory dispute resolution program, as previously stipulated and ordered. Signed by Judge Darrin P. Gayles on 8/20/2026.
