NOTICE AND ORDER: The 17 The Dow Chemical Company's Ex Parte Motion for Extension of Time to File Opposition to Plaintiffs' Motion to Remand (R. Doc. 9) requests an extension until October 9, 2026 to oppose Plaintiff's Motion to Remand. Although Local Civil Rule 7(a) would not apply because the Motion to Remand is not a pleading listed in Fed. R. Civ. Proc. 7(a), the Motion also argues that there is good cause for the extension. However, the Motion does not comply with Local Civil Rule 7(e) because it does not state whether any party opposes the relief sought. Accordingly, by no later than September 15, 2026, Dow shall file a motion for leave to supplement the Motion with the certificate required under Local Civil Rule 7(e). Failure to timely comply will result in denial of the Motion without further notice. Signed by Magistrate Judge Erin Wilder-Doomes on 9/10/2026. (This is a TEXT ENTRY ONLY.
