Order on Motion for Relief
MINUTE ORDER (text only) made at the direction of Judge Tana Lin: On 7/9/2026, the Court ordered Defendant to show cause as to why this case should not be remanded to state court. Dkt. No. 37 . The show-cause order established a briefing schedule whereby the issue would be fully briefed by 8/4/2026. See id. On 7/20/2026, Defendant moved for relief from the Court's deadline for the Parties to file their combined joint status report and discovery plan, "as well as all attendant deadlines." Dkt. No. 40 . Given that the issue underlying the show-cause order remains unresolved, the Court GRANTS Defendant's motion for relief from deadlines, pending the resolution of the show-cause order (Dkt. No. 40 ).
