Euronext Ups Offer For Oslo Exchange To $790M In Bid War

Law360, London (February 11, 2019, 12:57 PM GMT) -- Euronext NV raised its offer for Norway’s main stock exchange to roughly $790 million on Monday as the European trading venue attempted to persuade shareholders to reject a rival offer from Nasdaq Inc. valued at $770 million.

The Amsterdam-based stock market operator said it will offer 158 Norwegian kroner per share ($18) for Oslo Bors VPS, up from its previous offer of 145 kroner. The bid tops an offer from New York-based Nasdaq of 152 Norwegian krone a share, which has won the support of the Oslo board.
