What 2019 Has In Store For UK Data Protection

But going into the new year there is still the possibility of both a deal and no-deal Brexit. The latter brings with it requirements to put in place mechanisms to facilitate the continuing cross-channel flow of data from Europe to the U.K., and then onward to other countries, plus the appointment of new "legal representatives" in Europe where the U.K. entity lacks a presence. How very different life will be if the withdrawal agreement is ratified by Parliament, which will remove much of the complexity for the transition period at least....
