Text Order
TEXT ORDER: The Court received a motion from attorneys Sam Knight and Christopher Driver to withdraw as counsel for Scott Sauric and Elite Extraction, LLC. ([Doc. 34]). The Court granted the motion to withdraw as to Mr. Sauric. ([Doc. 40)]. As the Court has explained, under binding precedent, an entity may not proceed pro se. Palazzo v. Gulf Oil Corp., 764 F.2d 1381, 1385 (11th Cir. 1985). The Court entered an order requiring new counsel to appear for Elite Extraction, LLC on or before August 1, 2026. ([Doc. 40]). To date, a new attorney has not appeared for Elite Extraction. Pursuant to the Court's July 1, 2026 order, (Doc. 40 ), the Court grants Mr. Knight's and Mr. Driver's motion to withdraw as to defendant Elite Extraction, LLC and terminates Mr. Knight and Mr. Driver as attorneys of record. ([Doc. 34, 40]). Because Elite Extraction, LLC may not defend the claims against it without counsel, Tranquil Farms may request a default judgment against Elite Extraction.
