Status Conference Order on Motion for Disclosure Order on Motion for Discovery
Minute Order for proceedings held on 6/11/2026 before Magistrate Judge Lee G. Dunst: Civil Cause for Status Conference. Counsel for Plaintiff: Brendan C Carman. Counsel for Defendant: Susan M Tokarski. FTR #: 3:15-3:34. Case called. Counsel for all sides present. For the reasons stated on the record, the Court DENIES Plaintiff's request to expand the time frame for discoverable ESI production. See New Falls Corp v. Soni, No. 16-CV-6805, 2022 WL 17811448, at *6 (E.D.N.Y. Dec. 19, 2022) (rejecting discovery request as the movant is "moving the goalpost regarding the remaining discovery to be conducted in this case... [and] [t]he Court shall not condone this endless fishing expedition").The Court DENIES without prejudice Defendant's request that the Court order the parties to split vendor costs. See DE 29 at 4. The parties all submit a joint status report by 7/17/2026. The deadline to complete fact discovery is extended through 10/15/2026. There will be no further extensions absent a timely showing of good cause. The Court currently declines to set a deadline for the completion of expert discovery. The parties are reminded of Judge Sanket J. Bulsara's Individual Practice Rule VI.H.1 requiring a mandatory settlement conference in advance of commencing dispositive motion practice.
