ORDER. Accordingly, no later than August 26, 2026, the United States must have an AUSA enter a notice of appearance. The Clerk's Office is INSTRUCTED to send this order to AUSA Tamer Botros and AUSA Virginia Tomova. Signed by Magistrate Judge Nancy J. Koppe on 8/19/2026. Minute Order
MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Magistrate Judge Nancy J. Koppe on 8/19/2026. Pending before the Court is Plaintiff's motion to compel. Docket No. 24. Plaintiff asks that the motion be resolved on an emergency basis because the subject discovery was served in March, Plaintiff has received no responses, and the discovery cutoff closes in October. See Docket No. 24 at 3. The fact that Plaintiff waited to bring this request is not sufficient justification to decide the motion on an emergency basis. Cf. Cardoza v. Bloomin' Brands, Inc., 141 F. Supp. 3d 1137, 1143 (D. Nev. Oct. 16, 2015). Accordingly, the motion will be briefed and decided in the ordinary course. IT IS SO ORDERED.(no image attached) (Copies have been distributed pursuant to the NEF - TM)
