ORDER Granting in part 8 Motion to Dismiss. I THEREFORE ORDER that the United States' motion to dismiss (ECF No. 8) is GRANTED IN PART. Alison Williams' claim for negligence per se is dismissed as duplicative of her negligence claim. Williams' negligent entrustment and negligent entrustment, hiring, training, and supervision claims are dismissed without prejudice.
I FURTHER ORDER that Williams may file an amended complaint curing the deficiencies noted in this order by O ctober 8, 2026. If Williams does not file an amended complaint by that date, the case will proceed on her negligence claim only. Amended Complaint deadline: 10/8/2026. Signed by Chief Judge Andrew P.
