Regarding retained experts, the Court will not set an expert discovery schedule at this time. On 12/16/26, the parties are to file a joint status report that discloses whether they will be relying on retained experts, and if so, the general subject matters of the opinions. Specific opinions and expert names need not be disclosed at that time. This information will be used to set an expert discovery schedule. The next status report will be due 10/19/26. In that report, counsel must confirm that they have discussed the settlement with their clients and with each other.
