Minutes of proceedings [non-document] Magistrate Judge Jennifer Dowdell Armstrong held a mediation with the parties on June 26, 2026. Attorneys Subodh Chandra, Emily Bohatch, and Courtney L. Bow appeared on behalf of Plaintiff Rebekah Huskey. Ms. Huskey also attended. Attorney John D. Latchney attended on behalf of Defendant City of Port Clinton, Ohio. The Citys representative and insurance representative also attended. Attorneys John D. Pinzone and Jillian Eckart appeared on behalf of Defendant Kent Johnson. Mr. Johnson also attended. After extensive discussion, the parties were unable to reach agreement on the material terms of a settlement agreement today. The parties are directed to separately respond to chambers via email (Lauren_Kasulones@ohnd.uscourts.gov) on or before June 30, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. to advise whether the party accepts or rejects the financial mediators proposal provided at the conclusion of the mediation. If all parties accept, the Court will hold a Zoom mediation status conference with counsel on July 2, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. (Time: 5 hours; Court reporter: None. ) (K,L)
