Kelly as counsel for Diocese Defendants (Catholic Diocese of Youngstown, Ursuline High School, Matthew Sammartino, Margaret Damore, and John DeSantis); and Attorneys Christopher J. Joyce and Patrick M. Rahill as counsel for Coach Defendants (Daniel Reardon, Timothy McGlynn, and Christian Syrianoudis). Attorneys Dimitrios N. Makridis, Irene K. Makridis, and Theo Kafantaris were absent as co-counsel for Defendant Christian Syrianoudis. The Court discussed the status of settlement negotiations and pending proceedings in the Mahoning County Probate Court. No later than 8/24/2026, the Parties shall convene and submit a joint status report regarding settlement and probate court approval.
