Minute Entry for proceedings held before Judge Carl J Barbier: The Court held an evidentiary hearing on Plaintiffs' motion for a preliminary injunction on September 9, 2026, with the following counsel participating: Daniel Meyer representing Plaintiffs, and Danielle Borel and Alec Keane representing Defendants. The Court ORDERED that the Clerk shall file Exhibits 2, 4, 5, and 6 under SEAL, and Plaintiffs shall provide redacted versions of these exhibits by emailing them to efile_Barbier@laed.uscourts.gov. At the hearing, the Court ORDERED as follows: (1) The Temporary Restraining Order (Rec. Doc. 10) and the Writs of Sequestration (Rec. Docs. 14, 15, & 16) that the Court previously issued SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT through and until the time the Court issues its Order on Plaintiffs' motion for a preliminary injunction. (2) Defendants' oral motion for a two-week extension in which to file a responsive pleading to Plaintiffs' complaint is GRANTED, and Defendants shall have until September 23, 2026 to file their responsive pleading.
