Order | Filed: May 01, 2024 | Entered: May 01, 2024 Todorovic Clemente v. ROSSETTI et al
Personal Inj. Med. Malpractice | Pennsylvania Western
Order
ORDER. On 4/22/2024, the Court ordered Plaintiff JELENA LUKE TODOROVIC CLEMENTE to show cause as to why the action should not be dismissed for lack of subject-matter jurisdiction. ECF No. 58. Ms. CLEMENTE's response to the Order was due on 4/29/2024, but no such response has been filed. Instead, on 5/1/2024, a Response in Opposition to the 54 Brief in Support of Motion to Dismiss was filed. ECF No. 59. It appears that Ms. CLEMENTE signed and filed this document herself even though she is represented by an attorney. ECF Nos. 57, 59. Because the Court does not accept pro se filings from individuals who are represented by counsel, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the 59 Response is STRICKEN. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that counsel for Ms. Clemente must file an appropriate response to the 51 and 53 Motions to Dismiss, on or before 5/3/24. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, because Ms. CLEMENTE has not responded to the 58 Show Cause Order, she must, through counsel, show cause by 5/3/24 as to why the action should not be dismissed for lack of subject-matter jurisdiction. Signed by Judge Christy Criswell Wiegand on 5/1/2024. Text-only entry; no PDF document will issue. This text-only entry constitutes the Order of the Court or Notice on the matter. (kja)
