Order on Motion for Miscellaneous Relief
ORDER granting 50 Motion.
The court can decide the pending motion to approve the minor's compromise without oral argument. Civil L.R. 7-1(b). The attached order approves the minor's compromise. Technically, the plaintiffs did not file a proposed order: the purported proposed order at ECF No. 50-1 was an unsigned version of the petition at ECF No. 50 (but without the attachment). The attached order includes the requisite analysis of the settlement, including the attorney's fees, and attaches the petition (stamped approved) to document the precise terms. If the plaintiffs think a proposed order with the precise terms is needed to fund the settlement (like the order that was submitted in case number 22-cv-06715-DMR at ECF No. 103), they may file one and submit a chambers copy to lbpo@cand.uscourts.gov.
