Petitioner's motion for further reconsideration (Dkt # 27 is so construed) is DENIED for the reasons previously stated by the court, see Dkts. # 21, 26. The court also notes that the Immigration Judge's statement of his reason for denying bond (petitioner's conviction for a violation of the Arms Export Control Act), however terse, is "clear from the record." The court is also not persuaded by the comparators offered by petitioner, absent any showing that petitioner's circumstances, involving as they do a categorically serious violation of federal law, support an inference that he is "similarly situated" to the petitioners who were considered in the decisions of other District Judges apparently critical of this Immigration Judge's prior decision rationales.
