ORDER: The Court is in receipt of Plaintiffs and Defendant Carr's joint status report 43 , which provides an update as to case status and requests an extension of the fact discovery deadline. In light of the representations that additional time is needed to complete paper discovery and Defendant Carr's deposition, the request is granted, on consent. The following deadlines are extended. Fact discovery shall be completed on or before 10/5/2026 (the Court notes that the parties' proposed deadline of 10/4/2026 is a Sunday). The parties are directed to file a joint status report certifying the close of fact discovery by 10/13/2026. The status report should also include whether the parties have engaged in any settlement discussions and whether the case should be referred for mediation or a settlement conference before the Court. The last date to take the first step in dispositive motion practice is 11/6/2026, and must be done in accordance with the Individual Rules of the assigned District Judge.
