MINUTES (IN CHAMBERS) by Judge Otis D. Wright, II: On August 28, 2026, Plaintiff Jessica K. Diamond filed a motion to amend her Complaint 39 . On her motion, the Court advanced briefing deadlines and requested Defendant Douglas A. Collins file his opposition brief by September 4, 2026. (Min. Order, Dkt. No. 41.) As of the date of this Order, Secretary Collins has not filed his opposition brief. As Secretary Collins failed to file an opposition brief, the Court GRANTS Diamond's Motion. (Dkt. No. 39); see C.D. Cal. L.R. 7-12. As stated in Diamond's Motion, the Court finds that she has exhausted her administrative remedies concerning her termination at the United States Merit Systems Protection Board and may now litigate those allegations here. Diamond shall file a First Amended Complaint by SEPTEMBER 15, 2026. (lc)
