MINUTES (IN CHAMBERS) ORDER GRANTING MOTION TO WITHDRAW 76 ; DISMISSING PLAINTIFF D.I.T.'S CLAIMS WITHOUT PREJUDICE; IMPOSING SANCTIONS ON ATTORNEY GAVRIL T. GABRIEL; AND CLOSING CASE by Judge Monica Ramirez Almadani Granting 76 MOTION to Withdraw as Attorney: For the foregoing reasons, the Motion for Leave to Withdraw 76 is GRANTED. The Court further orders as follows: 1. Plaintiff D.I.T.'s claims are DISMISSED without prejudice. 2. Mr. Gabriel shall SERVE this Order on Plaintiff D.I.T. and FILE proof of service within five (5) days. 3. Attorney Gavril T. Gabriel is SANCTIONED in the amount of $1,500. Payment shall be made to the Clerk of Court within fourteen (14) days of this Order. 4. The Court directs the Clerk to REFER this action to both the State Bar of California and the Central District's Standing Committee on Discipline, so that those bodies may determine whether to initiate proceedings against Mr. Gabriel.
