(In Chambers) Order by Judge Stanley Blumenfeld, Jr.: Plaintiff has filed a motion for terminating sanctions, seeking entry of default and default judgment against Defendants Fan Zhou and 3888 Investment Group Limited because they have failed to respond to discovery requests. Dkt. No. 61. The Court previously granted Defendants' counsel's motion to withdraw and cautioned Defendant 3888 Investment Group that failure to notice new counsel by August 10 would result in entry of default. Dkt. No. 58. No counsel has appeared. Accordingly, the clerk's office is ordered to enter default as to Defendant 3888 Investment Group Limited. The Court vacates the reference of this motion to the assigned magistrate judge and reschedules the motion hearing to September 11, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. in Courtroom 6C. Defendants' opposition to the motion shall be due August 21, 2026. Failure by Fan Zhou to timely oppose will be construed as consent to entry of default.
