Order on Motion for Extension of Time to File Response/Reply/Answer
PAPERLESS ORDER GRANTING IN PART and DENYING IN PART third-party defendant Full Moon's 92 Unopposed Motion for Extension of Time to Respond to the Amended Third-Party Complaint. Full Moon's deadline to respond to the Amended Third-Party Complaint is EXTENDED to September 14, 2026. The Court grants this extension only because it has recently granted Plaintiff's and Defendants' motions to continue due to pressing personal circumstances. See 90 . The parties may settle this case at any time if they are so inclined, but to the extent Full Moon would like additional time to settle the case, the Court is unsympathetic. Full Moon answered Golden Rule's initial Third-Party Complaint over nine months ago and has had ample time to settle this dispute. The Court would also remind Full Moon of this quote from 79 : "Full Moon has been on notice of these facts since the original Third-Party Complaint was served and answered those allegations on November 6, 2025. The amendment narrows rather than expands the dispute by removing five counts and substituting claims that are legally cognizable in this posture. No new factual investigation is required, and no party will be required to redo discovery. Because the amendment rests on facts already known to Full Moon, there is no unfair surprise." Full Moon opposed neither those representations nor the motion in which they were made.
