PLAINTIFFS' MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO COMPLETE SERVICE OF PROCESS ON DEFENDANT YE, FORMERLY KNOWN AS KANYE WEST, PURSUANT TO FED. R. CIV. P. 4(M) AND AUTHORIZATION OF ALTERNATIVE METHODS OF SERVICE (Dkt. 34 , filed on May 12, 2026) by Judge Christina A. Snyder: In accordance with the foregoing, the Court GRANTS plaintiffs' motion for a thirty (30) day extension of time to serve defendant Ye via alternative methods of service, pursuant to Cal. Code Civ. Proc. § 413.30. Plaintiffs shall serve Ye by using all of the following methods: (1) posting copies of the Summons and First Amended Complaint at the property gate of Ye's Beverly Park Residence (72 Beverly Park, Beverly Hills, CA 90210); (2) service of the same documents on the armed security escort assigned to accompany plaintiffs' process server to the property gate of the Beverly Park Residence; (3) mailing copies via certified mail of the same documents to the Beverly Park Residence; or (4) email transmission of copies of the same documents to Eduardo Martorell. Service by all of the above methods shall be deemed effective. Plaintiffs shall submit proof of service on Ye within forty (40) days of this order.
