MEMORANDUM motion for temporary restraining order, 310 by MI-BOX Holding Company MI-Box Holding Company's Supplemental Memorandum in Support of Its Renewed Motion for A Temporary Restraining Order and Preliminary Injunction (Attachments: # 1 Exhibit Ex. 1, # 2 Exhibit Ex 2)(Hesse, Channing) (Entered: 07/14/2026)
Minute
MINUTE entry before the Honorable M. David Weisman: The Court has received an email communication from counsel seeking to have witnesses and counsel attend the preliminary injunction hearing on 7/20/26 via Zoom. The U.S. District Court for Northern District of Illinois does not generally conduct hearings via Zoom, and this case fits within that general rule. Accordingly, counsel and witnesses will need to attend in person. Witness testimony may also be submitted via declaration or affidavit. In order to allow the parties sufficient time to prepare for the in-person hearing and to allow the Court to review all the materials that have been and will be filed on the motion to preliminary injunction, the Court strikes the 7/20/26 hearing date. The parties are directed to meet and confer and promptly jointly contact Alyssia_Owens@ilnd.uscourts.gov, for a new date by COB 7/20/26. The Court is available the afternoons of 8/4/26 and 8/5/26, among others. The Court will also issue further instruction on the parameters of the hearing (duration, etc.) and the likely submission of a draft stipulated preliminary injunction order containing all the points on which the parties previously agreed. The Court intends to limit consideration of the motion for preliminary injunction to those issues that remain in dispute. Status hearing set for 7/23/26 at 1:30 p.m. to ensure a date has been set. If a new date is set the hearing will be stricken. Mailed notice (ao, ) (Entered: 07/14/2026)
