Show Cause Hearing
Minute Entry for proceedings held before Judge J. P. Boulee: Show Cause Hearing held on 10/14/2026. The Court heard argument from counsel on Plaintiff's Motion for Defendant to Show Cause why he should not be held in civil contempt for violating the Permanent Injunction. Plaintiff requested a scheduling order and limited discovery to discern damages. Plaintiff's exhibits 1-16 were admitted without objection. Quinnes Parker and Marvin Scandrick testified. The Court stated Defendant's Instagram handle should be changed, but it will first allow briefing on the matter. Defendant's motion is due October 21, Plaintiff's response is due by October 28, and a reply brief, if any, is due November 4. The Court will order parties to mediation after the Instagram handle issue is resolved. Exhibits retained to be forwarded to the Clerks Office. (Court Reporter Penny Coudriet)(gww)
