MINUTE ENTRY and ORDER for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge Jennifer B. Wieland: SCHEDULING CONFERENCE held on 9/1/2026. After consultation with the parties, the Court stays discovery in this case until October 30, 2026. In the event the District Judge rules on the pending motions to dismiss (Dkts. 9 and 13) prior to that date and any claims remain pending in the case, defense counsel are ordered to promptly contact the undersigned Magistrate Judge's chambers by email so the Court can schedule another scheduling conference. In the event that the District Judge does not rule on the pending motions to dismiss prior to October 30, 2026, the Court sets this matter for a Status Conference on October 30, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. (Central Time). The parties should be prepared to discuss proposed case deadlines and settings during the status conference, or whether a continuation of the stay is appropriate.
