   ENDORSED ORDER: On August 24, 2026, Defendants filed a Time Sensitive Unopposed Joint Motion for Extension of Time to File Responses to Amended Complaint and Request for Extra Pages ("Motion"). The Motion does not comply with Local Rule 3.01(f). See Local Rule 3.01(f) ("If a party moves for emergency or time-sensitive relief, the title of the motion must include 'emergency' or 'time-sensitive,' and the motion must include an introductory paragraph that explains the nature of the exigency and states the day by which a ruling is requested. The unwarranted designation of a motion as an emergency can result in a sanction."). And to the extent the Motion was designated as time-sensitive because Defendants waited until the afternoon of the date of the already extended deadline, see Doc. 71, to request relief, the parties are cautioned that self-induced time-sensitive requests are discouraged and may be ineffective. Cf. Klinakis v. Altus Jobs, LLC, No. 6:22-cv-1756-RBD-RMN, 2023 WL 9792678, at *5 (M.D. Fla. Oct. 13, 2023); Culliver v. BP Expl. & Prod., Inc., No. 3:21-cv-4942-MCR-HTC, 2023 WL 11992441, at *1 (N.D. Fla. Jan. 19, 2023). The parties shall ensure that future filings fully comply with the Local Rules. In this specific instance, however, the Motion is granted to the extent that (i) Defendants shall have up to and including August 31, 2026, to respond to the 67 amended complaint; and (ii) the Town Defendants (as defined in the Motion) may file a joint, consolidated motion directed to the 67 amended complaint of no more than 35 pages, to which Plaintiff may file a consolidated response of no more than 30 pages.
