Scheduling Order
SCHEDULING ORDER: As stated during the settlement conference held today, the case did not settle at this time. All remaining discovery, including any expert discovery, shall be completed by March 1, 2027. A joint pre-trial order, consistent with this Court's Individual Rules, shall be filed on or before April 1, 2027. Jury selection will take place on May 10, 2027 at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom 840, Alfonse M. D'Amato U.S. Courthouse, Central Islip, New York, with the trial to commence immediately thereafter.The parties shall agree amongst themselves as to a briefing schedule for any motions in limine. All fully-briefed motions in limine shall be filed no later than April 19, 2027. Motions in limine shall not be filed on the docket until they are fully briefed. The moving party for each motion in limine is responsible for providing Chambers with a courtesy copy of the motion, including any opposition, once the motion is electronically filed. Any proposed voir dire and requests to charge shall be filed on or before April 26, 2027. In addition to filing proposed voir dire and requests to charge on the docket, the parties shall also submit their proposed requests in Microsoft Word form to Shields_Chambers@nyed.uscourts.gov by April 26, 2027.
