Order on Motion to Withdraw as Attorney
ORDER granting 13 Motion to Withdraw as Attorney. The Court finds good cause to grant the instant Motion to Withdraw as Attorney, for the reasons set forth therein. See ECF No. 13. Successor counsel must appear on behalf of Prevenitas Inc. ("Prevenitas") on or before August 24, 2026. The Court is satisfied that Prevenitas has been duly advised of the consequences of its failure to do so. See ECF No. 13-2. Nevertheless, for avoidance of doubt, the Court further advises Prevenitas that, if successor counsel fails to appear, the 1 Motion to Withdraw the Reference will be denied without prejudice on August 25, 2026. The Court reminds Prevenitas that a business entity must be represented by "an attorney licensed to practice law before our courts." Jones v. Niagara Frontier Transp. Auth., 722 F.2d 20, 22 (2d Cir. 1983). As a result, Prevenitas may not file a pro se appearance. Attorneys Remondino and Goldstein are instructed to send a copy of this Order to Prevenitas and file a Notice certifying that they have done so on or before August 19, 2026. Upon filing of such Notice, the Clerk of Court is directed to terminate Attorneys Remondino and Goldstein from the docket. It is so ordered. Signed by Judge Kari A. Dooley on August 14, 2026. (AS)
