ORDER. The parties were required to file a joint status report "by the earlier of September 30, 2026, or seven days after receiving a decision on the grant application" referenced in the parties' earlier joint status report. ECF No. 131. The parties' joint status report filed yesterday states that Defendant received a decision on the grant application, but is ambiguous as to when the decision was received. ECF No. 132 at 1. As the Town issued a new Request for Proposal in July targeting what is apparently a different state funding cycle, the Court assumes that the original grant application was denied prior to issuance of the new RFP. But the parties did not file a joint status report seven days thereafter. Though the parties properly sought permission to extend case deadlines pending disposition of Defendant's first grant application, the order did not contemplate extending case deadlines pending any additional grant applications. The Court cautions the parties that they must take care to adhere to the Court's orders. The Court sets the following deadlines, which advance the case to dispositive motions earlier than the parties have proposed, given the age of this matter:All discovery will be completed by October 30, 2026. Dispositive motions are due December 1, 2026. Responses shall be due January 5, 2027. Replies shall be due January 19, 2027. Additionally, the Court grants the parties request for referral to Magistrate Judge Farrish for a settlement conference.In light of the numerous modifications to the scheduling order already granted, see ECF Nos. 62, 66, 77, 97, 106, 122, the Court notes that, absent extraordinary circumstances, it will not grant further extensions of these deadlines.
