Before the court is the 47 Motion to Intervene and 48 Memorandum by the Republican National Committee and North Carolina Republican Party ("Proposed Intervenors"). Proposed Intervenors represent that Plaintiffs oppose the motion to intervene but only in advance of the October 14, 2026 hearing on Plaintiffs' motion for preliminary injunction, and otherwise take no position; that the Durham County Board of Elections does not object; and that the North Carolina State Board of Elections and Guilford County Board of Elections take no position. (Doc. 47 at 3.) In light of the fact that the Proposed Intervenors seek to participate in the scheduled hearing on Plaintiffs' motion for preliminary injunction on October 14, 2026, any party opposing the motion to intervene for that purpose shall file its response by noon on Friday October 9, 2026.
